The purpose of this website is to:
  1. provide a place to publish family history research relating to the Meyer family (my family)
  2. provide a place to publish family history research relating to the Marcus family (my wife's family)
  3. help connect/reconnect family members through celebrating our common ancestry.

I hope that relatives, or other genealogists, will reach out to me if they know of information I have that is incorrect or missing. I also welcome contact from those researching family histories that overlap with the family tree published on this website. It would be great to get to know you and to be in touch.

Famous Relatives

Family stories state that we are distantly related to the following two famous individuals.

  • Chacham Shelomo Twena - A well-known Sephardic Rabbi and sage who lived in India.  Chacham Shelomo Twena is listed on the following genealogical websites: Les Fleurs de L'Orient and Twena Family website.

  • Leon Blum - French Socialist Premier in the 1920's.  My exact connection to him is still to be determined.
